RADA URSU
Multimedia Designer

ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Rada Ursu — a multimedia designer and visual storyteller with over 10 years of experience in educational media, motion graphics, video editing, web design, and interactive design.
For the past few years, I’ve been a Senior Multimedia Designer at Western Governors University, where I’ve led creative projects, mentored designers, helped make our creative process smoother, and created course experiences that are warmer and more engaging for learners. Before that, I worked across education, local government, and freelance projects — including three years editing videos for Mel Robbins.
While my career began in animation and earned several awards along the way, I’m now excited about work that blends interactivity, front-end design, multimedia storytelling, and thoughtful motion design — the kind of creative work that helps people learn, connect, and feel inspired.
I also use AI as a creative tool to speed up workflows and explore ideas more freely. I don’t believe AI replaces human creativity — I believe it expands it, helping us build things that are more meaningful for the world.
At the heart of everything I make is a belief that design should make the world kinder and brighter. I want my work to help people feel the simple joy of being human.
When I’m not designing, I’m probably with my family and friends, gardening, traveling, playing music, or checking something off my bucket list.
